Vessel of Regret
After the good experience with Reese Burns and C.T. on Waking Up, I entered into a session with a new collaborator, Kyle Suave. Kyle introduced me to the concept of writing using Guitar Pro. While Guitar Pro was cool in that it showed the tabs for the guitar/bass, making it a little clearer what the songwriter had in mind, it could also "play" the song in super-cheesy MIDI form.

Here is what Kyle had originally posted on Indaba as the foundation of the song:

One of the cool things about this approach is that, as I augmented the song by adjusting the arrangement or adding new parts, I could adjust it in Guitar Pro quickly and send it back to Kyle to get his take on in. In addition, I could easily extract the drum track from Guitar Pro and import it into Addicted Drums. This allowed us to both easily adjust the drum track as well.

After several iterations of back and forth, Kyle and I had this arrangement:

Final Arrangement (guitar & drums only)
